Our residential complex became an astronomical observatory where the owners were able to broaden their knowledge and learn more about the universe with the interesting information provided, in a fascinating and fun activity for the whole family: Stargazing at Playa Nueva Romana.
Taking advantage of the ample horizon line surrounding the Beach Club, guests were delighted to observe the moon, stars and planets through the different types of telescopes available, including the Marohu telescope, the largest in the Caribbean.
Viewing the Orion nebula, a place where stars are being born and solar systems are forming, was definitely one of the favorites, causing awe and surprise upon seeing it and hearing that it is 1,400 light years away from our planet.
